Master of Fine Arts of the Odessa State Conservatory, Ukraine. Violin professor, Chamber Music Artist and Orchestra Soloist.

In Cuba he was a student of the renowned violinist Evelio Tieles Ferrer but received the bachelor degree in Odessa with the professor Pavel Melaméd (disciple of the famous Russian pedagogue AY Yampólsky) and completed the violin and chamber music postgraduate studies at the Moscow Tchaikowsky Conservatory, in the classes of the prestigious professor Evguenia Chugáieva (assistant of Yuri Yankiliévich) and Prof. Dimitri Galínin.

In Havana he developed an intense pedagogical activity at the Manuel Saumell School of music, the National School of Arts and the Higher Institute of Art, and his students received first prizes in national and international competitions. He has been a jury member in different violin competitions.

His repertoire includes works by J.S. Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, Ysaye, Sarasate, Tchaikowsky, Kreisler, Sibelius, Paganini, etc. As soloist he has performed in Cuba, Venezuela, Mexico, Russia, Spain, Italy, Ireland, Finland and Japan. He was invited by the Association of Laureates of the Tchaikowsky Competition, to offer recitals at the International Festivals of Ibero-American Music in Moscow 2000 and 2001.

Is a member of the Cuban Asociation of Writers and Artists . He worked for eight years in Venezuela as Head of the Violin Chair of the Mérida State Symphony Orchestra Foundation and also at the Music School of Los Andes University.

He has been concertmaster at the Havana Great Teather Opera and Ballet Orchestra, at the Brindis de Salas Chamber Orchestra and at the Cuba National Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Maestro Leo Brouwer. Has also worked as Violinist Professor at the National Orchestra of Spain and at the Madrid “Victoria de los Ángeles” and “Adolfo Salazar” Conservatories.
