International Piano Competition: Young Soloists

The International Piano Competition: Young Soloists will take place in the City of Granada, Spain, on July 9 and 10, 2023. This competition is open to all pianists who participate in the Masterclass Leonel Morales & Friends, and who are not older than 19 years old at the beginning of the competition.
VERY IMPORTANT: Only a maximum of 8 participants per day will be admitted to perform a free solo piano repertoire of a maximum of 15 minutes. Entries will be accepted in strict order of registration.

Young Soloist Grand Prize
The winner of this award will inaugurate the opening concert of the International Festival of Music and Dance Leonel Morales and Friends 2024 with the Orchestra of the University of Granada, to be held in the Auditorium Paraninfo of the University of Granada.
It is necessary to emphasize that it is necessary to be present during the two days of July prior to the concert for the rehearsals with the orchestra and its conductor Maestro Gabriel Delgado.

The management of the INTERNATIONAL PIANO COMPETITION: YOUNG SOLOISTS LEONEL MORALES & FRIENDS, will examine the registration applications and will inform the interested party if his/her registration application has been accepted or not. If not, the registration fee will be refunded. A maximum of 10 pianists will be selected in strict order of registration and will be informed before June 15th if the participant has been selected.
