Blagorodna Taneva has graduated from SMC “Pancho Vladigerov” – Sofia and furthered her studies at Moscow State Conservatory (Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky) with the world-renowned violinist Oleh Krysa. She holds the position “Lead teacher” at the National Music School “Lyubomir Pipkov” in Sofia and is one of the highly accomplished violin teachers in Bulgaria.

Her students have won more than 500 prizes from International and National Violin Competitions such as: “Johann Sebasian Bach” – Japan, “Ifrah Neaman” – Germany, “Leonid Kogan” – Brussels, Belgium, “Arthur Grumiaux” – Brussels, Belgium, “Anton Rubinstein” – Düsseldorf, Germany, “Kocian” – Czech Republic, “Concertino Prague” – Czech Republic, as well as competitions in Italy, Greece, Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine, Romania, France, Sweden.

Her students regularly perform at many internationals festivals in Bulgaria and around the world: “Sofia Music Weeks”, “Varna Summer”, “March Music Days”, “Apolonia”, “European Music Festival”, “Musica Mundi”, “Mozarteum”, “Orpheus” and many others.

For her remarkable pedagogical approach Blagorodna Taneva has been awarded with Crystal Lyra, Golden Feather Award, Honorary diploma from the Ministry of Culture for contribution to the developments of Bulgarian culture, a diploma and prize from St. Cyril and St. Methodius International Foundation for finding talents and educating gifted violin students.

Blagorodna Taneva is regularly invited to several violin competitions as a jury member in Belgrade, Nis and Bulgaria. She gives masterclasses in Cannes, Monaco, Hamburg, Cologne, Belgrade, Skopje, as well as masterclasses organized by “Association for the support of children”.
