Noted by critics as one of the leading young talents of the Spanish national scene, the pianist Alejandro Algarra pursues a prolific career as a concert pianist, being a regular guest of relevant piano festivals, competitions and courses of relevance, both national and international.
He has been awarded in a large number of competitions, among which stand out the “Ciudad de Albacete” Piano Competition, the “Ria de Vigo” International Piano Competition, the “Amparo Fandos” Prize in Torrent, the “Frechilla-Zuloaga” International Piano Competition, the Barcelona Piano Academy, or the Ibiza International Piano Competition.
He just released his CD recording “Chopin-Rachmaninov, Complete Preludes” with the prestigious record company IBS Classical. He currently is a piano professor at the “Victoria Eugenia” Royal Conservatory of Music in Granada.
